You have not heard of graviola? This plant is a new “hit” natural medicine and news of it spread with lightning speed.
Graviola (Annona muricata) is a plant native to Central and South America.
Today grows in Mexico, the Caribbean, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela.
It can be found in sub-Saharan countries of Africa and in Southeast Asia.
Graviola grows in areas of high humidity, where the winters are relatively warm, because this plant does not tolerate temperatures below 5 degrees, since then it experiences damages to the leaves and smaller branches.
Temperatures below 3 degrees Celsius for this plant can be fatal because then its fruits become dry and lose quality.
Graviola has a pleasant, sweet taste, often compared to the combination of pineapple and strawberries, with a creamy note reminiscent of coconut or banana.
You can eat graviola fruit in its original form or you can make a juice.
For healing procedures are used its leaves, bark, fruit and seeds.
Graviola and Cancer
Graviola is a plant that is best known for its effects on cancer cells.
According to expert estimates, graviola selectively kills cancer cells and up to 10,000 times is stronger than chemotherapy medications.
In the treatment of cancer, graviola operates on several levels:
- destroys cancer cells with no harmful side effects
- protects the immune system
- helps in preventing deadly infections
- establishes the normal operation of organs
- revitalizes and returns the optimistic view on life
According to laboratory tests of an American manufacturer of drugs, the graviola extract kills cancer cells of 12 types of cancer. These include colon, breast, prostate, lung and pancreas cancer.
The trees of graviola are 10,000 times stronger than adriamycin, that is typically used in chemotherapy.
Unlike conventional drugs, graviola does not harm healthy cells, and effectively kills cancer cells.
In addition to acting on cancer, graviola has other medicinal properties as well – it is effective against bacteria, fungi and parasites, regulates blood pressure and helps with stress, depression and nervous disorders.
South American Indians who live in the areas where graviola grows, use all the parts of this tree (bark, leaves, roots, seeds) for the treatment of heart disease, asthma, arthritis and liver problems.
Hidden from the public
After the discovery of the healing properties of graviola, the pharmaceutical industry met the following problem: according to the law, a natural ingredient or plant cannot be patented.
In this way, the pharmacy has lost its chance to benefit from this natural remedy and get huge profits.
But the pharmaceutical industry did not want to give up the graviola -- in labs, pharmacists tried to synthesize the most powerful ingredient graviola, which kills cancer cells. But the miraculous fruit was impossible to be artificially multiplied.
After having lost millions of dollars invested in testing, pharmaceutical companies withdrew from the project, while maintaining the confidentiality of all the benefits that graviola has.
But, fortunately, one of the scientists publicly spoke about the effects of this plant.
A full range of later- conducted research confirmed the effectiveness of graviola, but the results often remained hidden from the public eye.
A study published in the Journal of Natural Products, after a study conducted at the Catholic University in South Korea, has confirmed that graviola selectively kills cancer cells “10,000 times more effective than adriamycin.”
On the South Korean university, it was confirmed that graviola kills cancer cells, but preserves healthy cells at the same time, which is different from chemotherapy, which indiscriminately destroys all reproductive cells.
A study at Purdue University found that an ingredient from the leaves of graviola precisely and selectively kills cancer cells among human cells, and is especially effective against prostate cancer, pancreas and lung.
The only potential side- effect of graviola consumption is associated with the high concentration of Annonacin, a substance associated with certain atypical forms of Parkinson’s disease.
It’s a shame that thousands of people a day die from various forms of cancer, while the natural remedy is at hand.
The recommended daily intake of graviola is:
- Infusion: 1 cup 3 times a day
- tincture: 2-4 ml three times a day
- Capsules: 2 capsules 3 times a day
- powder: 1 teaspoon per day
