Generations of women before us were familiar only with homemade cosmetics and still managed to look young and beautiful. Using natural products, our grandmothers manage to create a face cream that is so efficient it is still used nowadays. After you use this cream your face will become soft and silky. The pores will shrink and the skin remains toned and hydrated. Cream can reduce redness and the acne on the face. It is fast absorbed so it doesn’t leave the face with a greasy shine. It is safe because of the natural ingredients and it is cheap. You can prepare it yourself and it is a decent replacement for a leading branded cream.

What you need to make it:

  • 150 gr. High fat sour cream;
  • 30ml 70% alcohol or calendula tincture;
  • 1-2 tablespoons fresh cucumber juice;
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil (almond or calendula oil);
  • 1 fresh egg yolk;
  • Few drops of essential oil,
  • 200 ml box or a glass jar.

How to make it:
Mix well the sour cream and egg yolk. Then add cucumber juice and oil. You add the alcohol at the end. Put it in a box and leave in the fridge to thicken. You have to keep it in a fridge well closed and it can last for 3 months. Close it with foil or greasy paper on the lid.

You can add vitamins A, E AD drops, essential oils, which also rejuvenate the skin. You can also add a half a teaspoon of honey-if you are not allergic. You can add all you want but before you add the alcohol.

The best essential oils for this cream are: orange, jasmine, lavender, tea tree oil. You add just  a few drops.

You can reduce or increase the dose of ingredients to create an ideal face cream for your skin type. If you have oily skin- more alcohol, if it is dry – more cream and oil. If you want to whiten the skin use more of cucumber juice and a juice of a ¼ lemon.

To make anti wrinkle cream add tablespoon of ginger juice or a few mummio pills.

This cream can be used both as day or night cream. During the summer, it is better to use it just at night, because can cause skin pigmentation in a form of spots on the skin.
